Project Description We created a performance about these questions, inspired by Sherman Alexie’s novel The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian (ATDPTI). We performed it on Monday, September 28th in The Commons at High Tech High Chula Vista. It included original poetry and short plays, excerpts from the novel, live debate, music, dancing, and more.
House on Mango Street We read "House on Mango Street" and read small snippets of it with sound we thought was useful in the story telling
My Group Receiving/Giving Critique on our Snippets of "House on Mango Street"
First my group and I read through the snippet of text and thought lets put some background "music" in it and it really worked the only other sound we had was a book hitting the ground when we said "firecracker"
Interviews We did Interviews on one other person in the class First we got together and chose who would go first for the 20 minute period I went first and i described my love for a trading card game "Magic the Gathering" Next he told me about how he plays Football

Reflection
How would you answer this project’s essential question, “what tribes do you belong to?”. Has this answer changed since the beginning of the year?
I would belong to the Tribe of Video Game Players mainly because when I'm bored and not playing guitar I play video games
What did you learn about “writing for a client” that you want to remember in your next project?
That sometimes your lucky to get it done right on the first try and when you do just accept it
What did you learn about descriptive writing that you want to remember about your next project?
When you think that its descriptive enough your wrong you can describe it more, just think of the mental feelings instead of physical feeling
What did you learn about collaboration that you want to remember in your next project?
Don't forget there are other people in existence so please listen to them and talk don't be quite like how you are
What’s one moment from this project that you want to remember?
Finishing the Poem because I was excited to see what my partner would think
